By 'n' by hard times comes a-knocking at the door ! (81)

忠恕違道不遠,施諸己而不願,亦勿施於人。」(中庸第十三章) [附英譯1]
忠恕之道,己所不欲,勿施於人,離道不遠
「夫仁者,己欲立而立人,己欲達而達人。能近取譬,可謂仁之方也已。」(論語雍也) [附英譯2]
孔老夫子說,成就仁道的君子,自己想立仁道而能立仁道,也教他人,使立仁道 ; 自己想行仁道而能行仁道,也教他人,使行仁道,如是成就仁道。修習仁道的方法能近取譬,以身作則,行於忠恕之道,己所不欲,勿施於人,必能成就仁道
己立立人,己達達人,屬仁道的積極作為。忠恕之道,己所不欲,勿施於人,屬仁道的消極不作為。兩者本質同一從忠恕之道起步,修習仁道,以臻成就仁道
忠恕之道或仁道,有手段和目的或方法與結果的關係,然係以每個人為道德主體的道德命題,皆屬道德觀念,其真實可靠性,應受檢驗
